Mike Bamford

Mike is Head of Music and a co-founder of String and Tins. His lifelong fascination with sound began when Mike’s parents bought him a Fisher Price record player for his 2nd birthday. 7” singles by Art of Noise, Kraftwerk and Jean Michel-Jarre shaped the young Mike’s taste and highlighted the subtle intersection of noise and melody. With an encyclopedic knowledge of music and 25+ years in audio-post, his work has been awarded at D&AD, Cannes Lions, British Arrows, Ciclopé, Creative Circle and others.
