String and Tins is proud to announce the promotion of Creative Directors Adam Smyth and Lawrence Kendrick to Company Directors, marking an exciting new chapter for the award-winning sound design and music company.

Working alongside CEO Rachel Hough, Adam and Lawrence will help shape String and Tins’ creative direction and future growth as the company reinforces its reputation for world-class audio.

Adam Smyth and Lawrence Kendrick bring exceptional creative leadership, a lifelong passion for their craft, and a track record of standout work to their new roles. Their appointment significantly strengthens the String and Tins leadership team, ensuring the company continues to deliver ambitious audio storytelling and sound supervision for global clients.

As part of this evolution, String and Tins founders Mike Bamford and Will Cohen will focus more deeply on their areas of expertise, Head of Music and Supervising Sound Designer respectively, allowing both to dedicate their energy to the disciplines where they have long shaped the company’s creative identity.
